Wishing well suggestions

Option 1

We’d love to have you with us when all our dreams come true.
But at the risk of being bold we ask one thing of you.
We are one step ahead and we already share,
A home which has been made with love and care.
Most things we need, we’ve already got,
and in our home we can’t fit a lot.
We’re on our way to XXXXXX for our honeymoon.
A holiday for us to share that hasn’t come too soon.
So we can travel overseas far & wide
But never leave each other’s side,
A Honeymoon Registry, we thought would be great
(but only if you wish to participate).
Then while enjoying our honeymoon we’ll feel brand new,
We can look back and say it was thanks to you!
But most of all we’d love you there on our special date.
To share with us our happiness and help us celebrate.

Option 2

If you were thinking of giving a gift
to help us on our way,
A gift of cash towards our honeymoon
would really make our day.
However, if you prefer to purchase a gift,
feel free to surprise us in your own way.

Option 3

We made a commitment some time ago
That together through life we were destined to go.
If finding a gift is hard to do,
Then our wishing well is just for you.
A gift of money is placed in the well
then make a wish…but shhh don’t tell.
If ideas are had of a different kind
be rest assured we do not mind.
Please remember what we most request
is having you as our wedding guest.

Option 4

Many of our guests have enquired
For a gift idea to be inspired.
Like many young couples today
We have most things anyway
If you would like to give, it is our request
For something for our treasure chest.
A gift of money you can be afford
Is just what we need, you can be assured.
Without the help of this little pun
Our honeymoon would not be much fun.

Option 5

To support us on our wedding day
You may wish to help us make our
Honeymoon a little more special.
For this reason we have chosen a
Wedding Wishing Well.
The wishing well will be at the
Reception where we can receive
Your best wishes and contribution.

Option 6

Many of our guests have enquired
for a gift to be inspired,
Like many couples today
we have most things anyway,
If you would like to give
it is our request,
For something for our treasure chest,
A gift of money you can afford
is just what we need
you can be assured

Option 7

The tradition of the wishing well
used on the wedding day,
is here both for your money gifts
and for what you would like to say.
So please drop in a token of love
for this special Groom & Bride,
as they live their life side by side.
